I feel very honored to be included in The Makers photo project by Jennifer Causey. These are some of the pages from Jennifer's new book Brooklyn Makers which includes 30 artists that she documented throughout the borough. Capturing the spirit of this handmade movement, she visits the studios and work spaces of a diverse group of makers that include distillers, florists, ceramicists, bakers, ax designers and other interesting crafters. She interviews each to find out why they choose to live, and make their wares, in Brooklyn. It's wonderfully insightful and beautifully photographed.
